My name is Michelle Weaver, and here you can read a little about me. I’m a writer and live in Yorkshire, in the north of England. This means a lot of my stories are based here too. I write in the realm of speculative fiction: fantasy, urban fantasy, and science fiction.
My first short story Ordinary Girl is in the upcoming Circlet Press anthology Like Myth Made Flesh under the pseudonym M.A. Earnshaw.
I write in my spare time, although I also spend a lot of that on the internet being a fangirl. In addition, I have a large-ish garden which takes a lot of effort wrangling into shape, bake regularly, own enough books that one room in my house can legitimately be called a library, and listen to an eclectic variety of music. I may have a slight obsession with the colour purple. Sometimes this means my hair is purple. I also own a lot of nail varnish and Doc Martens. A lot, a lot.
I don’t do selfies.
My sense of humour is generally best kept away from the public, and yet here I am inflicting it on you all. I’m single and looking forward to the day I can start collecting the pets who will eat me when I die.
